Festival Information

The third edition of “Fresh Look”  Athens International Film Festival for Children and Youth will be hosted by Ciné, Downtown Athens, on April 17 and 18, 2010.

“Fresh Look” screens international independent movies for children, youth and adults, including animation, documentaries and fiction films. It is a fun event for all ages. The Athens community benefits from this Festival through its exposure to international films which are generally not distributed commercially, even though they are of first-rate artistic quality.

The four screenings of the Third edition will be a condensed introduction to world cinema and to different aesthetics, cultures and realities. 

Audiences will have the opportunity to watch and enjoy films from Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, and USA.

Post screening question-and-answer sessions with the audience will be conducted after each of the four shows.
